About Callum.
Callum Durrant is an Actor raised in Surrey, England and is currently located in Farnham. In 2024, he graduated from the University for the Creative Arts with a BA (Hons) in Acting and Performance.

Callum discovered his passion for acting during childhood; he found that it allowed him to become someone else, creating a chance to experience a lifestyle different to his own.

As he explored acting and performance, Callum learnt that it was more than simply escaping reality. From the teachings of practitioners like Uta Hagen and Sanford Meisner, he realized that the truth of acting focuses on the narrative, leading the audience to believe in the story, rather than showcasing individual skill. Over time, Callum developed the ability to connect with audiences, even when it seemed like an audience couldn't relate to a character.

Currently pursuing an MA in Acting for Screen at the University for the Creative Arts, Callum continues to explore his own creativity in writing. Samples of his work can be found on his social media platforms:

"Work for the actor lies essentially in two areas: the ability to consistently create reality and the ability to express that reality."
